The Sea: Between Speech and Language

It has now been three weeks post thesis exhibition and I am finally posting about it. I have been editing images for that last few days and posted the best ones to my work page. Thanks to everyone who helped make the show possible and who came out to celebrate with me for the reception. I have to give a huge shout out to my friend Laura Post who catered my exhibition after attending a birth the night before, and who is also an expecting mama. She did an amazing job and the event wouldn’t have been as great with out her.

Bobby Howsare, needs an ultra big thank you too. He was so helpful when we were installing my audio and had to run to Radioshack about five times to get cords. Seriously, we had something like 80-100 ft of cord running along the walls and ceiling of the gallery, all hided from the viewer. Plus lets face the facts, it’s incredibly hard to balance a family and two back to back MFA thesis shows. Thank you Bobby for your help, love and support. I couldn’t have done it without you and Eliot.

The video and audio which is such a big part of the exhibition will be posted soon. So, sit tight and enjoy the new photos.
