Last Friday I participated in SECAC and presented in a panel chaired by Lauren Evans titled, All in the Family: On Raisin Kids Together as Artists in Academia. It was a wonderful experience to present with other artists/parents/academics. It is important to create visibility of the benefits and challenges of these unique circumstances.
This year due to the pandemic the conference was all digital and took place over Zoom. All presentations had to be prerecorded and one of the benefits of this is that I get to share my presentation here with you.
